Your new company
Hays Education is working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in West Kirby that is looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support pupils within Reception and Year 1. The school is committed to providing a positive and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and independence.
Your new role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support children across Reception and Year 1, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning through play-based and structured activities, assist with phonics and early literacy development, and help pupils build strong foundations for future learning. You will support children both within the classroom and through small-group activities, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant Early Years qualification
- Experience working with children in EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
