Financial Adviser – Sydney CBD / Parramatta

The Company

Established Sydney financial planning business with offices in the Sydney CBD and Parramatta.
The business has an experienced team of Senior Advisers, a strong professional network and established relationships with accountants and other referral partners.
This creates an excellent opportunity for an emerging Adviser to develop their technical, client and commercial capabilities within a supportive advice environment.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Senior Advisers, you will progressively take responsibility for client relationships, advice delivery and new business development.

• Meeting with clients and presenting financial advice.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting Senior Advisers across existing client portfolios.
• Identifying and developing new advice opportunities.
• Building relationships with professional referral partners.
• Working closely with paraplanning, implementation and client service teams.
• Developing your own client portfolio over time.

As the role develops, the balance will increasingly move toward managing and growing your own advice relationships.

The Person

You will already have experience within the Australian financial planning sector and be ready to take greater ownership of client relationships.

You will bring:

• Completed Financial Adviser Professional Year as a minimum.
• Relevant financial planning qualifications.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Sound understanding of the advice process and AFSL environment.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
• An interest in developing professional networks and referral relationships.

Remuneration

Competitive market remuneration will be offered to the successful applicant. Additional incentives may apply based on experience and contribution.
