Fleet Mechanic

SUMMARY
Maintain and repair fleet assets to provide safe and reliable transportation for employees and complete all maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently perform vehicle maintenance and repairs including engine, transmission, injectors, valves, tires, and other driveline issues.

• Efficiently perform equipment maintenance and repairs including engine, hydraulics, and services.

• Accurately diagnose and trouble shoot in-depth repairs using automotive tools and equipment.

• Perform general welding and fabrication as required.

• Minimize risk by working safely and following all safety guidelines and procedures according to company policies.

• Provide and maintain personal hand tool inventory to adequately perform repairs.

• Assist Fleet Supervisor and Manager on special projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma required

• 2 - 5 years automotive experience preferred

• Diagnostic and repairs for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

• Valid driver's licenses required and CDL preferred, other automotive certifications a plus
