About the Role
This Float Veterinary Surgeon position is built for someone who enjoys variety and working across different teams and locations. The role covers sites in Central, East, South, North and West London, plus parts of Essex, with support from locum coordinators to help match clinics to accessible areas.
There is flexibility around working patterns, with the option to explore 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week. You will work in different settings, from RCVS accredited hospitals with specialists to multi vet and small sole charge clinics, and you will cover a Saturday rotation, average Sunday shifts across the year, and bank holidays at the nearest 24-hour hospital.
The role includes full clinical support, with consultations and routine GP surgery work such as bitch spays and dentals. It also offers the stability of a fixed monthly income, alongside the chance to pick up extra shifts if you wish.

- Salary of £50,000 to £70,000 FTE, depending on experience
