Food & Beverage Manager | Hotel Esplanade – St Kilda

Ready to take on a key leadership role at one of Melbourne’s most iconic venues?

Hotel Esplanade (The Espy) is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take ownership of our front-of-house food and service operations across multiple spaces within the venue.

With our current Restaurant Manager moving into a Head Office role, we’re looking for a strong hospitality leader who can continue developing our teams, elevate service standards and bring a genuine focus to the food and dining experience across The Espy.

The role

You’ll oversee the operations of Mya Tiger, Louey’s, Espy Kitchen, Ghost Bar and the Green Room, working closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading FOH food, beverage and service operations across multiple outlets
• Rostering, training, coaching and developing the team
• Developing and embedding strong sequences of service
• Driving consistently high service and guest experience standards
• Working closely with the Venue Manager on large-scale events
• Developing and executing concepts that drive revenue and venue performance
• Financial oversight and cost control across your areas of responsibility
• Building strong, capable teams and future hospitality leaders

About you

You’ll be an experienced Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leader with a strong background in high-volume food and beverage operations. You know what great service looks like, understand the commercial side of running a successful operation and enjoy developing teams.
