- Acts as an intermediary between shipper and carrier to facilitate the transportation of goods
- Coordinating the transportation of goods assigning loads to drivers, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
- Monitoring all shipments, using tracking software to provide accurate updates to customers and internal team for pickups and deliveries with updates put into system
- Identify qualified carriers, negotiate rates, provide all documents needed for deliveries and or pickups, monitor the shipments start to finish and or pass off to team mate at end of shift to follow up
