Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatrician to join our team in providing specialized care for older adults. The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team to manage complex medical conditions, optimize patient independence, and improve overall quality of life. This is a part time position to start, but may evolve to full time.

As a Geriatrician, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments.

• Diagnose and manage complex medical, cognitive, and functional issues in elderly patients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, home care professionals, dietitians and physiotherapists.

• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.

• Participate in research, teaching, or program development.

• Contribute to clinic initiatives for geriatric care improvement.

Qualifications

• MD degree with specialization in Geriatric Medicine.

• Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Geriatric Medicine (or equivalent).

• Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

• Strong clinical and communication skills.

• Experience working in an interdisciplinary healthcare environment is an asset.

Salary: $250,000-$500,000/annually
