What you’ll be doing

Join CIBC’s Global Transaction Banking (GTB) EMEA team as a Summer Analyst and help deliver transaction banking solutions to institutional and corporate clients.

GTB provides clearing, deposit and trade finance solutions to financial institutions worldwide. Through its correspondent banking network and product expertise, the team supports international growth and strengthens relationships with leading global banks. The team also partners closely with Corporate Banking Relationship Managers to develop and deliver deposit solutions for corporate clients across key sectors.

Based in London, you will work alongside experienced colleagues across four core areas and contribute to meaningful work for our clients:

  • Global Banks Coverage: Help manage CIBC’s global bank relationships and coordinate GTB and Capital Markets solutions across key clients.

  • Correspondent Banking: Support the delivery of payment and clearing solutions for international bank clients.

  • Cash Management: Support bank and corporate clients with solutions for managing and investing excess liquidity.

  • Trade Finance: Help deliver working-capital and credit-risk-mitigation solutions for clients.
