Graduate Multi-Asset Credit Analyst

This graduate placement will be supporting the PM team across several strands of work and various asset classes including:

• Fund Management Support
• Portfolio Trade Creation and Analysis
• Data Pipeline Management
• Data Provision and Dissemination

This is a 2-year programme designed to attract, develop, and retain the best graduate talent for CQS and act as a pipeline for future leaders within the Firm.

Position Responsibilities:

• Fund/portfolio positioning and performance analysis
• MAC Data Requests
• Client Service and Business Development Data Requests
• Support Multi Asset Credit team in portfolio management functions, quantitative research/analysis
• Own, analyse and present portfolio data to assist decision making and ensure client mandates are met (risk, reward, ESG, and liquidity).
• Generate portfolio trades through the existing systematic infrastructure. Provide analysis of transaction costs and PnL impact
• Assist in portfolio modelling, construction, improvement and trading of the systematic strategies.
• Maintain and develop existing data pipelines and infrastructure
• Project work to improve portfolio management decisions and enhance risk adjusted performance.
• Project work with other teams to help increase efficiency across the business via automation.

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Computer Science / Engineering / Economics) Proactive problem-solving skills and comfortable working independently
• Confident in a flat working environment
• Motivation to learn and assume responsibility• Minimum one year working experience• Basic Python skills with some experience/knowledge of OOP
  • With a view to expanding knowledge to production level code
• Experience with SQL• Experience using AI agents• Knowledge of credit a plus

Salary range is expected to be between

£35,700.00 GBP - £59,500.00 GBP

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
