  • Support Core Supply Chain Operations : Partner directly with the Production Planning, Material Planning, and Product Scheduling Teams to assist with daily planning operations and schedule execution.
  • Stranded Inventory Optimization : Identify zero-demand stranded inventory and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate an actionable rework plan into various production schedules (KPI: Inventory without Demand Reduction).
  • Lead Time Improvement : Utilize material availability tools to identify bottlenecks and improve lead times for 'D' parts, directly supporting cash collection initiatives (KPI: Cash Collection).
  • Shortage & Escalation Management : Proactively identify material shortages and assist in managing escalations for upcoming "Make" (manufactured) parts that fall outside normal planning windows to safeguard production timelines (KPI: On-Time Delivery (OTD)).
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Assist in compiling, analyzing, and reporting key supply chain performance metrics (KPIs) to identify process improvement opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions:  Based on business need, the role will focus on one or more of the following:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Supply Chain Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends/shortages, and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to manage escalations and collaborate effectively across the Production, Material, and Scheduling teams.
  • Software & Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for data analysis, including pivot tables and formulas, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented & Adaptable: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education:

  • Degree: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
  • Minimum Year: Entering Junior Year.
