About this role

Job Description

Job Title: Group Lead, GBS - Commercial Business Partner EPDM

Location:  Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Role Group Lead, GBS - Commercial Business Partner EPDM
At Kraft Heinz, we grow our people to grow our business, because we believe that great people make great companies. Our ability to define and deliver global solutions is a key differentiator and a value driver across our global service centers. The core of our operating model and value proposition is our unique position enabled by process scale and capability, supporting delivery of KHC’s 10-year strategy through global efficiency and value creation.

The EDM & WEM Zone Commercial Business Partner based in Amsterdam is the senior point of accountability for the Europe Zone/Market partnership across Sales & Marketing (Developed and Emerging Markets). This role owns executive stakeholder relationships, establishes and governs the operating model between GBS/GCCs, Europe Zone teams, and Global Commercial functions, and is accountable for end-to-end service performance, transformation roadmap execution, and measurable business outcomes across the Europe commercial services portfolio.

This position will in the future build and lead a team of functional SMEs (deep domain expertise across priority commercial processes and analytics).

Key Responsibilities

1) Executive Partnership, Governance & Decision Rights

Own relationships with senior Europe Zone and Market Sales & Marketing leadership; serve as trusted advisor and primary escalation point.

Establish and lead governance forums (operational reviews, QBRs, steering committees) with clear decision rights, escalation paths, and prioritization mechanisms across Europe Zone, Global Commercial, and GBS/GCC leadership.

Ensure Y+1 execution of GBS commercial roadmap aligned with regional teams (service, capability, data/tech enablement), including sequencing and adoption/change strategy across developed and emerging markets.

2) Operating Model Ownership (Global Standardization + Local Market Fit)

Define, implement, and continuously improve the operating/interactions model (RACI, service catalog, intake, SLAs/XLAs, controls, handoffs).

Drive demand management and capacity planning across Sales & Marketing workstreams; manage trade-offs and alignment when priorities conflict across markets.

Lead standardization across Europe while formally governing exceptions (documented rationale, risk assessment, and time-bound plans where applicable).

3) End-to-End Performance, Controls & Service Excellence

Partner with Commercial Operations  Service Delivery Leads to drive service excellence (quality, timeliness, productivity, stakeholder experience) across the Europe commercial services portfolio.

Implement performance management (dashboards, insights, trend analysis) and deliver executive-ready reporting.

Ensure adherence to policies and control requirements; manage operational risk, audit readiness, data integrity, and business continuity.

4) Transformation, Value Delivery & Continuous Improvement

Own the value agenda: productivity, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement, standardization, automation, and analytics enablement—delivering quantified and realized benefits.

Lead improvements across process, technology, and data in partnership with Tech, Data/Analytics, and GBS Capability teams.

Build business cases, influence investment decisions, and govern benefits realization to ensure sustainable outcomes.

5) People & Capability Leadership (build, scale, mature)

From year 2, build, lead, and develop a team that will mature into a two-layer capability:

Business Partners aligned to markets/stakeholders and demand shaping

SMEs aligned to priority domains (e.g., Marketing Analytics, Content Ops, Activation Ops, Ecommerce support, Social Intelligence, Consumer Care analytics)

Establish capability strategy (skills, knowledge management, playbooks, training/certification pathways) to support both “run” operations and “change” delivery

Role-model inclusive, cross-cultural leadership across multiple countries, languages, and time zones

Experience & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Economics, Marketing, or related), per internal policy.

  • Typically 12+ years across Commercial Operations, Sales/Marketing Enablement, Analytics/Insights, Strategy, or Transformation in a global/regional environment.

  • Demonstrated executive stakeholder management and governance leadership (Zone/BU leadership level).

  • Proven track record leading cross-functional, multi-market transformation programs with measurable outcomes and sustained adoption.

  • Strong operating model and service management expertise (RACI, SLAs/XLAs, intake/prioritization, performance frameworks).

  • People leadership experience (direct reports and/or leading through matrix); ability to scale teams and formalize SME capability.

  • FMCG experience required.

  • Lean/Six Sigma/Design Thinking certification preferred (or equivalent CI leadership experience).
