What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end organic search strategy, writing plain-language, high-utility content for the questions parents actually ask while maintaining a strong, fast technical foundation.
  • Drive AI Answer Optimization across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and AI Overviews through structured data, maintaining our public llms.txt, and building credible third-party corroboration to make FDNA eligible, useful, and cite-worthy.
  • Manage Google Ads and paid social channels—overseeing strategy, budget allocation, creative direction, landing page optimization, and campaign iteration.
  • Optimize campaigns around cost-per-qualified-family (measured to real product events) while collaborating with engineering and legal teams to enforce strict, privacy-safe tracking compliance on sensitive health pages.
  • Build an authentic, value-first presence in key parenting communities (such as in Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok/Shorts) under a transparent brand identity, adhering strictly to community guidelines.
  • Oversee FDNA’s professional identity on LinkedIn and X, crafting clinician-facing messaging around Face2Gene.
  • Establish and maintain social escalation protocols to respond helpfully to user comments and direct messages while staying strictly within regulatory boundaries.
  • Cultivate long-term, trust-based partnerships with parent advocates, developmental pediatrics educators, genetic counselors, and advocacy organizations.
  • Manage compliant campaign execution—ensuring clear disclosures, written briefs with approved claims, privacy boundaries for family stories, and full medical review prior to amplification.
  • Track and report weekly funnel metrics from initial click to assessment completion and clinician report sharing, prioritizing engagement quality over sheer volume.
  • Manage the content calendar, contractor pipelines, and claims library, ensuring all marketing assets pass through our strict clinical and legal review process before going live.

What they're looking for

  • Three or more years in digital, growth, or performance marketing, including at least one channel you owned end to end and where you can show a number you moved.
  • Hands-on SEO and content. You have built pages that earn organic traffic and you can explain why they worked. You are comfortable with search intent, site structure, and page performance.
  • Hands-on paid search. You have personally run and optimized a Google Ads budget. You know what a bad account looks like from the inside.
  • Real community participation. You have posted under your own name in online communities and you understand the difference between contributing and broadcasting. If you have earned trust on Reddit, say so and show it.
  • You treat health-adjacent data as sensitive by default. You know that what fires on a page about a child’s development is a legal question, and you will raise it rather than assume someone else has.
  • Comfort being the whole function. For the first stretch you are the strategy, the execution, and the reporting. You will direct contractors, and there is no team under you on day one.

Nice to have

  • AI answer visibility experience under any of its names - AEO, GEO, LLMO, AI search. This discipline is two years old, so evidence of doing it thoughtfully counts.
  • Marketing in healthcare, or in another regulated or high-stakes category where claims are reviewed before publication.
  • Experience running an influencer or creator program with proper disclosure of material connections, per FTC guidance.
  • Analytics depth: Google Analytics, Search Console, event instrumentation, and enough comfort with data to answer your own questions without waiting for a report.
  • Short-form video and visual content, either produced yourself or directed well.
  • Familiarity with pediatric, developmental, rare-disease, or genetics communities, or a personal reason to care about this problem.
  • You have directed agencies, freelancers, or contractors and got good work out of them while staying on budget.
  • You have built something from nothing - a channel, a content program, a community - and can walk through what you did first, second, and third.

Full description from employer

FDNA through Nacre Capital is seeking for a highly accomplished Growth Marketing Manager.

About the Role

When a parent is up late searching for answers about their child's development, they need an honest, trustworthy resource—not hype or sales pitches. As our first Growth Marketing Manager, you will make Family Health Checker easy to find and rely on across traditional search, paid channels, parenting communities, and AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.

Because we talk to concerned parents about their children's health, trust is everything. We do not use fear tactics, imply diagnoses, or make false promises. You will build a growth engine where ultimate credibility drives user acquisition.

What You’ll Do

  • Search & AI Answer Visibility (AEO/GEO)
    • Own the end-to-end organic search strategy, writing plain-language, high-utility content for the questions parents actually ask while maintaining a strong, fast technical foundation.
    • Drive AI Answer Optimization across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and AI Overviews through structured data, maintaining our public llms.txt, and building credible third-party corroboration to make FDNA eligible, useful, and cite-worthy.
  • Paid Acquisition & Privacy
    • Manage Google Ads and paid social channels—overseeing strategy, budget allocation, creative direction, landing page optimization, and campaign iteration.
    • Optimize campaigns around cost-per-qualified-family (measured to real product events) while collaborating with engineering and legal teams to enforce strict, privacy-safe tracking compliance on sensitive health pages.
  • Social Presence & Community Engagement
    • Build an authentic, value-first presence in key parenting communities (such as in Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok/Shorts) under a transparent brand identity, adhering strictly to community guidelines.
    • Oversee FDNA’s professional identity on LinkedIn and X, crafting clinician-facing messaging around Face2Gene.
    • Establish and maintain social escalation protocols to respond helpfully to user comments and direct messages while staying strictly within regulatory boundaries.
  • Influencer, Creator & Advocacy Relationships
    • Cultivate long-term, trust-based partnerships with parent advocates, developmental pediatrics educators, genetic counselors, and advocacy organizations.
    • Manage compliant campaign execution—ensuring clear disclosures, written briefs with approved claims, privacy boundaries for family stories, and full medical review prior to amplification.
  • Measurement, Content Operations & Review
    • Track and report weekly funnel metrics from initial click to assessment completion and clinician report sharing, prioritizing engagement quality over sheer volume.
    • Manage the content calendar, contractor pipelines, and claims library, ensuring all marketing assets pass through our strict clinical and legal review process before going live.
