Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

SG 13

Manage the product development teams, technology support, and Design for Manufacturability for Replacement and Original Equipment for LT4x4 AT+ tires world wide.

Identify main customer needs (current and future) and define R&D needs to fulfill customer requirements.
Main contact for technical discussions with customer, during events, testing sessions, validation of development concepts and processes.

• Product development, introduction, target approvals, and transfers (WW RE and OE)
• Product Compliance and Quality Assurance
• Strategy definition for future business with different OEMs
• Translation of customer strategy needs into future R&D tech requirements 
• Design for Manufacturability
• Planing and Budgeting coordination
• Leading & developing a high performance team

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 10+ years' related professional experience
• Internal qualified candidates will meet internal guidelines for this executive level role:
  • 18+ months experience of leading people and/or projects
  • ACfEL must be complete before a promotion to SG 13/14
• Experience in areas of product development, technology development, manufacturing and/or quality management
• Experienced in leading cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and aligning strategies
