An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior Employment Solicitor to take a genuine step up into a Head of Department and Director-level position with a highly regarded full-service law firm. The firm has an established reputation across the Southeast and Midlands, possessing a strong client base and a busy Employment practice.
There is no expectation that you bring a following or guaranteed work; there’s a healthy pipeline of existing work with the opportunity to lead and further develop the department. However, an ability to demonstrate a record of good business development is expected. The successful candidate will have significant Employment experience, strong technical capability, alongside the management experience and commercial judgement required to lead a team. You will advise senior stakeholders on complex employment matters (contentious and non-contentious), including senior exits, restructures, litigation, transactions and wider strategic issues.
