About this role
Role Overview
There is no partnership function at SquadStack today.
The budgets we are going after sit inside enterprise transformation programmes, and those programmes are scoped, shortlisted and often delivered by somebody else. A consulting firm writes the contact-centre transformation roadmap for a bank. A systems integrator owns the delivery. A cloud provider owns the commercial paper. A CDP already sits in the marketing stack of the same customer we are pitching. We need to be in those rooms.
What you will do
- Build SquadStack's partnerships function from the ground up, including the partner programme, tiering, and commercial models.
- Land and own senior relationships with the consulting firms and systems integrators running BFSI and contact-centre transformation programmes in India, working practice leads and offering owners.
- Build co-sell relationships with the platforms already sitting in our customers' martech and engagement stack, and get both teams working the same accounts.
- Own the AWS, Google Cloud and Azure alliances end to end, from marketplace and co-sell mechanics through to closed deals, and use those relationships to open CXO access through joint events and roundtables.
- Carry a target for partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue, and deliver the first partner-sourced wins.
- Decide where we do not play, and be able to defend saying no to partnerships that bring no revenue.
- Hire and lead the partnerships team.
Requirements
Must have
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, partnerships, or enterprise sales.
- You have built a partnership function from zero.
- You have closed partner-sourced revenue, not just signed MoUs.
- You know how the other side decides: how a practice lead picks the technology that goes into a client proposal, what their margin maths does to that choice, and who has to be convinced before a partner puts your name in a deck.
- Direct exposure to BFSI buying in India. You have sat with a bank or an NBFC and know how they actually buy.
Good to have
- You have made the crossing yourself, from a consulting firm, SI or GCC into a product company.
- You have run a hyperscaler motion end to end, listing through co-sold deal.
- Adjacency to our buyer: Voice AI, conversational AI, CCaaS, martech or customer engagement platforms.
Why Join us
- Real ownership, from day one. Regardless of experience level, you're expected to make decisions, not just take instructions.
- Growth tied to impact, not tenure. People move into bigger roles because of what they've done, not how long they've waited for a review cycle.
- Recognition, close to the moment. Good work gets called out the week it happens, not filed away for a quarterly review.
- Enough leaves for the "I just need today off" days. Real time off, usable when life actually demands it
- Lunch and snacks are on the house. No hangry emergencies here.
- Competitive salary and a real shot at owning a large surface area of impact. Compensation that reflects the level of trust and responsibility you're given here.
- A diverse, inclusive workplace. SquadStack is an equal opportunity employer. We don't discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or any other legally protected status.
Logistics
- Location: Noida preferred. Mumbai or Bengaluru considered for the right person
- Compensation: Competitive fixed plus variable, with meaningful ESOPs
