What you'll do
- Support the Class Teacher in the day-to-day management of the classroom and lead lessons in their absence
- Embed positive behaviour support (PBS) frameworks to reduce behaviours of concern and improve the quality of life for our students
- Conduct behavioural observations and functional assessments to inform individual support plans
- Provide a spectrum of educational activities tailored to students' individual EHCP requirements
- Promote student welfare and safeguarding in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic student development

Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs?
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and PBS Practitioner to join our supportive pastoral team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the educational and developmental journey of our students, helping them thrive in an inclusive and nurturing environment.
We operate a strict no-sponsorship policy; all applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
Working hours: Start time 8:15am - 4:45pm, Monday to Wednesday. 8:15am - 5pm on Thursday and 8:15am - 4pm on Friday.
Your Role

Essentials
