Hollis Creek- Electrician (Non Driver)

Job Summary**

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at the Hollis Creek project site. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for large-scale solar energy projects, without the need for driving company vehicles.

Job Responsibilities**

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduits, fixtures, and control devices for solar arrays and associated infrastructure.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts and system requirements.
* Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
* Connect electrical equipment to power circuits and ensure proper grounding.
* Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and panels, for hazards and defects, and recommend or initiate repairs.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
* Collaborate with other trades and project team members to ensure efficient project completion.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
* Operate various electrical hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
* Valid Electrician license or certification as required by state and local regulations.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably within the renewable energy sector (solar experience highly desirable).
* Strong understanding of electrical theory, principles, and codes (NEC, local codes).
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Physical ability to perform strenuous work, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
