What you'll do
- Provide health and safety advice to project and operational teams.
- Carry out site inspections, audits and assurance activities.
- Review RAMS, safe systems of work and project risk controls.
- Support compliance with CDM 2015 and Construction Phase Plans.
- Support environmental inspections, controls and incident investigations.
- Assist with project quality requirements, ITPs and NCRs.
- Support accident, incident and close-call investigations.
- Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and SHEQ campaigns.
- Monitor subcontractor SHEQ performance.
- Track corrective actions and support continual improvement.
What they're looking for
- NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM 2015.
- Experience in a SHEQ or health and safety role within construction, utilities, infrastructure or engineering.
- Practical experience working on live construction sites.
- Experience carrying out inspections, reviewing RAMS and supporting incident investigations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Nice to have
- Power T&D, overhead line, underground cable, substation, utilities or major infrastructure experience would be highly beneficial.

SHEQ Advisor
The SHEQ Advisor will provide practical, site-based Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality support across live construction and infrastructure projects, working closely with project teams, site management and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely and in line with legislation, client requirements and company standards.
