Position Summary

The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and stakeholders. This position will lead safety initiatives, investigate incidents, conduct audits, provide training, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety requirements.

The Safety Manager serves as a key resource for facility leadership, driving continuous improvement in workplace safety and fostering a culture where safety is a core value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate safety records and training documentation.
  • Recommend safety improvements and best practices to reduce risk and enhance performance.
  • Support facility operations by troubleshooting safety concerns and assisting with corrective action planning.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration across all departments.
  • Complete all required corporate and facility training within established timeframes.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment

This position operates in both office and industrial facility settings.
