About this role

About Atria:

The Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty health care practice with a focus on prevention and longevity. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, 24/7 home visits, and imaging is included in members’ annual fee.

Our mission is to make healthspan and lifespan equal for all by translating science into medicine in real-time, all while bringing humanity back into health care. Delivering such robust, personalized, and preventive health care is complex and requires a team-wide dedication to excellence.

We have state-of-the-art facilities with imaging and diagnostics on-site in New York City, Palm Beach, and Los Angeles, with home services hubs in Miami, Greenwich/Westchester, and the Hamptons in summer. Additional locations are forthcoming in the Bay Area, Miami, and in downtown Manhattan. At each of our Institutes, we deliver personalized preventive medicine grounded in up-to-the-minute science — all in serene environments designed for trust and comfort.

About this role:

Atria is seeking a versatile and highly organized HR Coordinator to join the People team. This role is the operational backbone of the team — executing the onboarding, records, and coordination work that ensures every employee has a seamless experience from offer through their first months and beyond.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

Onboarding & offboarding:

  • Own onboarding logistics for new hires: pre-boarding, I-9 / E-Verify workflows, orientation scheduling, system access readiness, HRIS setup, and benefits enrollment support
  • Coordinate and process offboarding: exit logistics, system deprovisioning, and termination processing in Rippling / Workday
  • Facilitate and coordinate job postings, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding alongside the team

Records & coordination:

  • Maintain all employee records accurately, including but not limited to new hires, terminations, changes in status, medical files, and training files
  • Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all paper and electronic files and personnel information
  • Create offer letters for review
  • Schedule meetings and interviews working alongside the team
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Assist with reconciling insurance premiums (voluntary and employer-sponsored), following up and resolving discrepancies with carriers or brokers; promptly process benefit enrollment, termination, and changes

Process & projects:

  • Assist in executing people processes that align with the company’s recruitment, onboarding, and training objectives
  • Support initiatives that enhance the employee experience and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Partner with other departments to ensure HR programs and initiatives are communicated effectively
  • Compose routine correspondence and generate special reports
  • Arrange travel and lodging for assigned staff attending conferences, seminars, and meetings
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are organized, detail-oriented, and calm under a heavy and varied workload. You take ownership of the behind-the-scenes work that makes everyone else effective, and you bring discretion and a service mindset to every interaction.

Compensation: $60,000 - $78,000 (based on years of experience)

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in Human Resources; experience in a clinical setting is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment similar to a tech start-up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multipleresponsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Google Suite; experience with an HRIS (Rippling / Workday) a plus
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and exceptional service and hospitality
