Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and refine test items and assessment content.
• Assemble test forms following defined specifications and measurement principles.
• Review test forms, pretests, and computer-adaptive testing (CAT) item pools.
• Support item revision by interpreting basic item performance data.
• Follow assessment standards, quality requirements, and ethical guidelines throughout the test development process.
• Participate in meetings with internal teams to support assessment development activities.
• Assist with teacher training activities and internal knowledge-sharing activities.
• Work with internal teams (psychometricians, instructional designers, editors, AI engineers) and subject matter experts to develop and evaluate assessment content.
• Participate in constructed response scoring activities in collaboration with faculty consultants and external scorers, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in assessment, content development, education, or a related area.
• Strong content writing and review skills.
• Knowledge of educational standards, curriculum alignment, and assessment frameworks.
• Experience in test development, educational measurement, or applied statistics is preferred.

 

Reporting Structure

•            Individual contributor role with no direct reports.

•            Works under regular supervision of senior assessment staff.
