What you'll do

  • Ensure the adherence to manufacturing process compliance with legal & safety requirements, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications and ensure the team also follows the same
  • Maintain the uptime of testing equipment, including Functional Testers (FT), Flash Testers, In-Circuit Testers (ICT), and Intermediate test (IMT) stations.
  • Quickly identify part failure issues in testers, conduct in-depth investigations into tester cards failures, contact pin issues and wire harness problems..
  • Prepare Initial Analysis Reports (IAR) for each occurrence (Breakdown), including recommended measures for resolution.
  • Implement systematic problem-solving techniques to address and resolve issues effectively.
  • Take responsibility for spare parts management, ensuring availability and readiness Manage obsolete spares efficiently.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing input on testability and reliability aspects.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to address open issues and incorporate feedback.
  • Tooling Management.
  • Effective Escalation to suppliers on open points and breakdowns work towards closing them.
  • Should maintain 5S and Safety in his work place
  • Evaluate and integrate new automated testing tools/jig and methodologies.

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. Job Description

Regular:

1.Ensure the adherence to manufacturing process compliance with legal & safety
requirements, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications
and ensure the team also follows the same
2.Maintain the uptime of testing equipment, including Functional Testers (FT), Flash
Testers, In-Circuit Testers (ICT), and Intermediate test (IMT) stations.

Periodic:

1. Evaluate and integrate new automated testing tools/jig and methodologies.
2.Analyze test results and provide feedback to process owners and product
development team.
2. Co-ordination with Process owner for improvement activities
3. Quick Adaption of Change Management.
4. Create Machine FMEA and review. Change potential points into CBM.
5. Knowledge transfer and Lessons Learned deployment across the team members.
6. RPP measure implementation for productivity and process improvements (e.g.
Tool life extension, Tool/Spare parts localization )
7. Proactive identification of potential quality risks / Breakdown and containment /
correction work on Predictive action.

 

Occasional:

1. Optimization of resources Electrical power consumption, Pneumatic / Nitrogen /
Chilled water / Vacuum etc.
2. Involvement in Customer Complaint Problem Solving.
3.Collaboration with other manufacturing location
4.Supporting production through System & Point-CIPs.
5. Support Cross functional teams (including support with issues on TA, yield,
quality, delivery, cycle time, failure analysis.)
6. Implementation of Digital systems in Maintenance like i4.0 solutions,
AI/ML,BOT,RPA,Predictive Maintenance, etc.

 

 

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechatronics / Electronics with 2 to 4 Years of experience in Testing breakdown maintenance worked in Electronic manufacturing industries

Additional Information

Should be worked in Electronics manufacturing industries with exposure of testing and inspection troubleshooting & Maintenance of Test equipments
