About Us: Our Pupil Referral Unit in Walsall is dedicated to supporting students who need additional help to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. We foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and resilience.
Role Overview: We seek a passionate Inclusion Lead to promote inclusive practices, support student well-being, and ensure tailored support for every student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Intervention Delivery: Lead reading initiatives, managing interventions like phonics, Lexia, and one-on-one support.
- Collaboration and Guidance: Collaborate with SEND team, reading lead, teachers, and staff, providing expertise on reading ages and relevant information.
- Assessment Management: Maintain up-to-date reading assessments and centralized intervention records, regularly reviewing effectiveness.
