Are you an experienced Industrial Painter and Abrasive Blaster looking to contribute to Australia’s critical defence infrastructure? We have a unique, ongoing casual opportunity based at the prestigious Garden Island Defence Precinct in Potts Point.

Your Role
As an Industrial Painter/Abrasive Blaster, your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing high-quality abrasive blasting and industrial painting.
- Utilising specialised equipment including airless spray machines, hydro blasting tools, and pressure pots.
- Ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality standards while navigating shipyard environments.

To be successful, you are safety-conscious, reliable, and driven to grow your technical skills:
- Essential Experience: Solid background in industrial painting and abrasive blasting.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Surface Finishing) or equivalent.
- Current White Card.
- Valid licenses: Working at Heights, Confined Space (Enter & Work), and EWP.
- Desirable: Experience in the shipbuilding, mining, heavy engineering, or energy sectors. HRW licenses (Forklift, Dogman, etc.) are a significant advantage.
This role requires access to a Defence facility. To be considered:
- You must be an Australian Citizen.
