About this role
· Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems to maximize plant reliability and availability. · Maintain and repair control valves, transmitters, analyzers, PLC systems, LT/HT drives, sensors, switches, and other plant instrumentation in accordance with OEM standards. · Execute maintenance work orders using SAP/CMMS, maintain accurate maintenance records, and prepare calibration and defect rectification reports. · Ensure compliance with HSE policies, Permit-to-Work systems, risk assessments, safety procedures, and proper handling of analytical chemicals and test equipment. · Coordinate with I&C Engineers, Operations teams, and maintenance personnel to support routine and emergency maintenance activities while minimizing equipment downtime. Requirements · Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3–4 years' experience in instrumentation and control maintenance within power generation, desalination, utilities, or oil & gas industries. · Hands-on experience with control valves, actuators, transmitters, PLC systems, LT/HT drives, analyzers, sensors, switches, and instrument calibration. · Proficient in SAP/CMMS, P&ID interpretation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and OEM maintenance standards. · Certified or trained in First Aid, CPR, Emergency Fire Fighting, H₂S, Process Safety, and knowledgeable in Permit-to-Work (PTW), risk assessments, and HSE procedures. · Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently, respond to emergency call-outs, and operate in multicultural industrial environments.
