Job Description

Endeavour engages Independent Contractors to deliver Intensive sessions. The Contractor is engaged to deliver instructional sessions for the allocated subject(s) during Intensive events, in accordance with approved lesson plans and subject content provided by Endeavour. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Delivering sessions in an engaging and professional manner; 
  • Conducting assessments during and following Intensive session attendance, using the prescribed assessment tools and marking rubrics; 
  • Providing constructive feedback to students during live activities and as part of the formal assessment process. 
  • Mark student assessments, return results within agreed timeframes (typically two weeks), and complete all required assessment and delivery documentation.  
  • Collaborate with academic staff as needed and provide feedback on course content or assessments when requested to support continuous improvement. 

Qualifications

Applicants must possess relevant qualifications and professional experience in a health-related discipline, with knowledge and practical skills in clinical examination and or patient assessment. 

Requirements include: 

  • A Bachelor minimum qualification in a health-related field (for example, Nursing, Paramedicine, Medicine, Allied Health, or a related clinical discipline). 
  • Clinical experience involving patient assessment and physical examination. 
  • Demonstrated clinical skills:  
  • General vital signs assessment, including temperature, radial pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure measurement. 
  • Clinical examination techniques for systems assessment 
  • Musculoskeletal examination 
  • Gastrointestinal examination, including inspection, palpation, auscultation, and percussion of the abdomen. 
  • Ability to provide practical instruction, supervision, and assessment of students undertaking clinical examination skills. 

Additional Information

  • You must hold a valid ABN 
  • This engagement is project-based, short-term, and independently delivered. Contractors retain discretion over the instructional method and delivery style, provided that all required content is addressed and student learning outcomes are met. This role is not integrated into Endeavour’s regular operations and does not involve fixed hours or ongoing commitments beyond the defined event engagement. 
  • Recruiting across all ECNH campus including Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Gold Coast
