This internship is designed for Engineering students who want to gain hands-on experience in the medical device industry. You'll work on meaningful projects, build valuable skills, and learn from experienced professionals at Smith+Nephew.

As a System Verification Intern, you'll help test and validate new products, working closely with engineering teams to ensure products meet quality and performance standards before reaching customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Perform a variety of tasks of verification testing for a surgical robotic product.

  • Define software or hardware verification plan. Determine sample sizes, creation, management and ownership of test plan and defect management.

What will you need to be successful

Education:

  • Must be currently matriculated at an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Software or equivalent applicable engineering.
