What you will experience in this position:

As an Inventory Coordinator at nVent Management Company, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations in Hutchins, TX. Your outstanding skills will help us maintain flawless inventory control and support our logistics and distribution processes. You will serve as the primary contact for cycle counters and 3PL warehouses, performing regular physical counts and balancing discrepancies. You'll complete inventory transactions in WMS/ERP systems and record, track, and report inventory data. Your proven track record to drive data-driven quality improvements and implement Lean methodologies will ensure world-class operations!

You have:

  • Academic background: High school diploma or equivalent experience required; associate degree beneficial
  • Previous experience: 3-5 years in logistics/distribution environment, 2 years in business systems related to warehousing, and powered industrial truck experience
  • Skills: Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, knowledge of inventory systems (spreadsheets, databases, WMS/ERP such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, understand cross-functional connections, develop solutions that meet operational and goals of the company, and demonstrate the RCCM process to improve processes and enhance customer experience
