IT Department Manager – HR Systems (f/m/x)

Anton Paar develops, manufactures, and distributes highly precise laboratory and process measurement instruments as well as customized automation and robotics solutions. To further develop our global HR systems landscape, we are looking for an experienced leader to head our IT Department HR Systems. Together with your team, you will be responsible for the reliable operation and strategic, technological advancement of our core HR systems, with a focus on SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors.

Job Description

• Lead and manage the HR Systems IT team, both functionally and disciplinarily
• Drive the strategic development of our HR systems landscape, with a focus on SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors
• Digitalize and optimize HR processes in close collaboration with HR and other business departments
• Manage projects, change requests, interfaces, and system enhancement initiatives
• Advise management and business stakeholders on HR IT and digitalization topics
• Ensure the stable, integrated, and future-ready operation of our HR systems

Qualifications

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in HR IT, ideally within complex and international system landscapes
• Strong technical SAP expertise and hands-on experience with SAP HCM and/or SAP SuccessFactors
• Experience in the technical design, evaluation, and implementation of system changes, releases, and integration solutions
• Proven experience in leading, developing, and organizing an IT team, including managing responsibilities, priorities, and resources
• Good understanding of HR processes and how they are mapped into IT systems
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Structured and solution-oriented working style combined with a strong hands-on mentality

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 5.000 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
