  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned hospitals, including stakeholder mapping, competitive position, capital cycles and growth opportunities
  • Build trusted relationships with clinical leaders, procurement, finance, operating room management and hospital executives
  • Lead complex capital opportunities from identification through evaluation, tender, negotiation, contracting and implementation
  • Develop customer specific clinical, operational and economic value propositions and multi-year commercial solutions
  • Drive adoption and expansion of the AiBLE ecosystem across robotics, navigation, imaging, enabling technologies and spine implants
  • Own the commercial strategy and capital funnel for assigned accounts, with clear accountability for growth, market share and forecast accuracy
  • Coordinate cross functional Medtronic teams, including Territory Sales, Clinical Specialists, Financial Services, Health Economics, Tender Management and Service
  • Identify competitive and market developments that may impact strategic accounts and translate insights into commercial action
  • Partner with Country Strategic Accounts on broader enterprise agreements and national or group purchasing initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of the Dutch hospital landscape, procurement processes and capital approval pathways
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including business case development and complex contractual structures
  • Professional level fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken

  • Experience in spine, neurosurgery, surgical robotics, navigation, intraoperative imaging or related surgical technologies
  • Experience closing high value capital or enterprise agreements and working with alternative commercial models
  • Established relationships within Dutch academic, STZ or other strategically relevant hospital organisations.

A Day in the Life

Would you like to help shape strategic partnerships with some of the Netherlands' leading hospitals? Bring your commercial talent to Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology and healthcare solutions. This is an opportunity to join our Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) business and help expand integrated solutions that support spine surgery.

As Key Account Manager, you will develop and manage strategic relationships with a defined portfolio of high value hospital accounts across the Netherlands. You will lead complex commercial opportunities, including capital equipment, tenders and multi year agreements, while coordinating the right Medtronic expertise around each customer.

A key focus is the AiBLE™ ecosystem, which brings together robotics, surgical navigation, intraoperative imaging, powered surgical instruments, surgical planning and the spine implant portfolio. You will translate customer priorities into solutions that create sustainable clinical and commercial value.
