Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a KS1 Early Career Teacher to work on a temporary, flexible ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming primary schools throughout Doncaster.

The start of a new academic year is a great time to join Academics and begin building your teaching experience across Doncaster. This KS1 Early Career Teacher opportunity allows you to work across Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, with some partner schools potentially able to support ECT induction terms.

Position: KS1 Early Career Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: 130 - 190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP / September

About the Role

As a KS1 Early Career Teacher in Doncaster, you will teach across Key Stage 1, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through an important stage of their early education.

Working as a KS1 Early Career Teacher across Doncaster can give you the opportunity to experience different school environments, build your classroom confidence and develop your teaching practice. It can also be a useful way to explore schools before deciding where you would like to complete your ECT induction or secure a longer-term position.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Reception and KS1 where appropriate
• Support pupils' academic progress and wellbeing
• Differentiate learning to meet individual needs
• Establish positive classroom routines and behaviour expectations
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Early Career Teacher or recently qualified teacher
• Interest in teaching within KS1
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach
• Enhanced DBS Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
