The Role

 As a Laboratory Technician in the microbiology department of our environmental laboratory, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of microbiological testing processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting analyses in line with quality standards, identifying anomalies in samples, organizing tasks to optimize workflow, and ensuring deadlines are met. You will also calibrate and maintain equipment, manage laboratory consumables, maintain a clean and sterile workspace, and perform calculations as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory techniques, knowledge of laboratory safety practices, and excellent organizational skills.  One year’s relevant experience (a degree or diploma) is preferred.
