What you'll do

  • As Lead Future Ready Strategic Portfolio Management, you are responsible for driving the group-wide portfolio management and PMO of NN Group’s Future Ready Programme while helping further develop portfolio management as a group-wide capability
  • You maintain a clear and up-to-date overview of the portfolio, actively monitoring progress, dependencies, risks and budgets.
  • You identify deviations early, challenge where needed and drive timely resolution of impediments to keep the transformation on track.
  • You work closely with programme and project leads across the organisation, ensuring strong alignment and consistency in execution
  • You lead the preparation of board-level reporting and decision materials, translating complex portfolio dynamics into clear, concise and actionable insights for MB and MB-1 stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable operating at this level, facilitating discussions, supporting decision-making and ensuring follow-up on agreed actions
  • You also lead a small team with a PMO consultant, change and communication specialist and Value Office specialist, ensuring strong coordination across governance, financial and non-financial reporting and engagement activities
  • You play a key role in shaping and driving change and communication activities, ensuring that the transformation is clearly understood, well-coordinated and effectively embedded across the organisation.
  • You contribute to maintaining momentum, transparency and engagement throughout the programme
  • You are responsible for safeguarding the overall business case of Future Ready, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and in line with expected value creation

As Lead Future Ready Portfolio Management, you will drive the transformation portfolio and governance of NN Group’s Future Ready programme, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives deliver value and remain on track. In addition, you will contribute to further strengthen portfolio management as a capability within NN Group.  
 

What you are going to do

Who you will work with

You will be part of the Strategy & Transformation Office (~10-15 fte) with two main capabilities: Portfolio Management (your role) and Strategy Consultancy Pool. Your role will have a position in the MT and reports directly to the Head of the Strategy & Transformation Office. The Strategy & Transformation Office has a direct reporting line to the CEO of NN Group.
