What you'll do

- Design and develop learning materials, including curricula, facilitator guides, participant resources, job aids, and digital learning content.
- Coordinate the delivery of instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning programs.
- Support training logistics, scheduling, communications, participant engagement, and learning documentation.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate learning activities to assess effectiveness, identify improvements, and measure outcomes.
- Maintain learning resources and knowledge management systems to ensure accessibility and consistency.

Overview
As the Learning & Capacity Building Coordinator, you will strengthen the capacity of partner organizations participating in a U.S. Government-funded humanitarian response and disaster preparedness program. Through capacity assessments, coaching, learning initiatives, and partner support, you will help organizations build the knowledge, skills, systems, and practices needed to better serve vulnerable children and communities affected by crises.
Working closely with the prime award recipient, subaward partners, subject matter experts, and program teams, you will coordinate and support learning and capacity-strengthening activities, monitor progress, and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the consortium.

What do you bring?
Bachelor's degree in a related field
7+ years of relevant work experience
Experience in humanitarian and disaster relief program design, management and accountability will be valuable in assessing gaps, conducting coaching sessions and applying capacity development plans.
Experience supporting donor-funded, humanitarian, emergency preparedness, international development, or related programs preferred.
Proven experience designing and delivering field-based, hands-on learning, training, and capacity-building initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills are required. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in French and/or Spanish is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
