Site-Based | Data Centre Construction | Full-Time
Designer Group is seeking an experienced Lift & Shift Coordinator to support the delivery of a major data centre project.
This is a site-based coordination role responsible for the safe, efficient and planned movement of major M&E plant and equipment from delivery and laydown areas through to final installation locations.
Working closely with Construction Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Logistics, EHS, subcontractors and specialist lifting contractors, you will coordinate lifting and equipment movements to ensure activities are properly planned, sequenced and delivered in line with the project programme.
Equipment may include transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, chillers, AHUs, pumps, electrical panels, packaged plant and other heavy or high-value M&E equipment.
Requirements
You will ideally have previous experience in lifting operations, construction logistics, rigging, plant installation or major equipment movement within a large construction environment.
Experience within data centres, M&E construction, mission-critical projects, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial, energy or major infrastructure projects would be particularly relevant.
You should also have:
Relevant lifting, rigging, crane supervision, logistics or construction safety qualifications would be advantageous.
Appointed Person / lifting planning qualifications are desirable where relevant but are not automatically required for this coordination position.
