Mainstream East Sussex consultancy requires a Structural Design Engineer to join the head office of a multi-sited UK business.
Candidates will need to be a Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE, and must have good structural engineering design skills. Candidates must have knowledge of structural design and engineering techniques and be responsible for planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. They should also be capable of devising new approaches to problems, preparing or modifying drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs and monitoring work for compliance with codes and accepted engineering practices.
Current workload is a diverse mixture of both new-build and refurbishments across the South East, with project values up to £100million in various sectors of building structures.
