What you'll do
- Respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns across the production line

- Maintain accurate PM records and engineering handover sheets
- Complete thorough shift handovers and communicate outstanding issues

- Ensure engineering spares are correctly recorded and issues fully resolved
- Follow Permit to Work procedures where required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across production and workshop areas
- Work safely and in line with site procedures and policies

Vickerstock are currently recruiting for experienced Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join the maintenance team of a fast-paced 24/7 food manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy production environment, supporting the safe and reliable operation of production equipment and minimising downtime.
The Role
Working closely with the Production and Engineering teams, you will be responsible for responding to breakdowns, completing planned and preventative maintenance and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities

Shift Pattern
This is a 4-cycle continental shift pattern incorporating days and nights:
- Week 1: Monday & Tuesday days | Wednesday & Thursday off | Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights
- Week 2: Monday & Tuesday off | Wednesday & Thursday days | Friday, Saturday & Sunday off
- The pattern then repeats from Week 1
