Maintenance Generalist

Your Role

• Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical maintenance activities to support facility operations

• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of mechanical equipment including air handling units, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers

• Replace filters and maintain housekeeping standards in utility plants, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, and IT rooms

• Conduct water testing activities in accordance with established procedures and water treatment requirements

• Perform scheduled inspections and operational checks on equipment and systems

• Support health, safety, and life safety processes while ensuring compliance with all site requirements

• Assist trades personnel by transporting materials, equipment, and providing on-site maintenance support as required

About You

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: certificate/Diploma Electrical Engineering Technician.

• Certificate of Fire alarm System monitoring and troubleshooting of Fire System is an asset.

Requirements and skills

• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with team members

• Ability to maintain compliance with health and safety procedures in a safety-critical environment

• Proficiency in performing basic maintenance tasks and conducting equipment inspections

• Aptitude for troubleshooting and supporting building systems, fire alarm monitoring, and facility operations

Expected compensation for this unionized role is between pay range of $32.37 to 34.49 per hour. Base salaries are determined according to the compensation range of the Collective Agreement.
