What you'll do

  • Manage and control the site maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations.
  • Plan and allocate resources and workforce requirements for mechanical, electrical, facility, infrastructure, and plant IT functions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute repair activities as well as preventive maintenance programs for buildings and production equipment.
  • Oversee technical procurement, spare parts management, and warehouse operations.
  • Lead and implement technical projects, including equipment modifications, upgrades, and new installations, in close cooperation with the European Engineering team.
  • Ensure operational reliability of all production equipment and continuously improve asset availability using established Lean Manufacturing and TPM methodologies, including Process Kaizen Engineering.
  • Ensure all technical installations comply with legal requirements, regulatory inspections, and relevant GBfoods standards.
  • Coordinate external service providers and collaborate with authorities, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and support employees within the maintenance and technical functions.
  • Work closely with the local Continuous Improvement and Production teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with the GBfoods headquarters and central Engineering organization on strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job description:

Lead the Maintenance and Technical functions at the Lübeck production site, ensuring the reliability, availability and continuous improvement of production equipment and site infrastructure.
