What you'll do
- Monitor LLRIB Health Services building systems in all five (5) communities in La Ronge, Hall Lake, Grandmothers, Bay, Little Red River, and Sucker River
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contract tradespersons for major repairs
- Perform safety and security checks
- Perform preventative, corrective maintenance and minor repairs, on building equipment and components
- Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues
- Supervise other workers
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Work with minimal supervision
- Ensure building operations comply with building codes, regulations and safety standards
- Maintain clean and organize mechanical rooms and workspaces
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, or landscaping coordination
- Maintain logs, checklists, and maintenance records

About the position: The Maintenance Technician contributes to the health team by providing daily operations, maintenance and monitoring of building systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all LLRIB Health Services clinics/facilities. The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor and will work with other team members.
