What you'll do

  • Finance business partnering with different stakeholders across various products in Core and Consumer Payments.
  • Support the financial close process through the analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure effective and timely generation of regional revenue forecasts and budgets.
  • Develop engagement and reporting processes between RHQ, Divisions, Global Markets and various functional groups.
  • Support the development of business plans and the annual planning and budget process. Responsible for incorporating accurate data uploads into the Hyperion budgeting and forecasting tool, as well as compiling, completing and submitting the Preliminary Budget Review Template and CEO Review Template to Global Markets on time.
  • Generate relevant performance information and analysis on key business drivers of revenue, expense and contra. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Support preparation of management reporting packages and financial presentations for Regional Management, Global Markets and other ad-hoc business reviews.
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests for information and analysis. Develop and continuously improve in-region and corporate financial analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Business Development team to include analysis of underpinning assumptions in the management reporting process.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Divisional Finance teams on the use of Hyperion for revenue forecasting.
  • Apply strategic understanding of business dynamics in regional markets and competitive forces to drive creative responses and formulate mitigating strategies.
  • Support continuous reviews of existing processes to assess operational efficiency, and develop and implement process improvements to ensure processes meet present and anticipated needs of internal customers, members and other stakeholders.

Overview

• The Manager, Finance Business Partner (FBP), Core Payments and Consumer serves as a senior advisor to Product, Commercial, and Regional Leadership. This role serves to drive profitable growth, enabling strategic decision-making, and shaping the financial architecture for high-priority product lines working with and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Key responsibilities include leading planning cycles, delivering insightful performance analysis, upholding governance standards (revenue recognition, contra, accruals), and shaping data-driven decisions on pricing, investments, and market expansion.
• The Finance Business Partner (FBP) function manages all aspects of management reporting, including budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning, and corporate reporting requirements for the region. This position supports the Director, FBP (Regional Finance) across a broad spectrum of strategic processes and initiatives, focusing on all Core Payments and Consumer.
