Manager - Finance Controller

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Controller to join our manufacturing plant in Cheyyar. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong expertise in plant finance, financial reporting, forecasting, compliance, and business partnering within a manufacturing environment.

As a key member of the finance team, you will support the Finance Controller in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, strengthening controls, and providing financial insights that enable business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and corporate financial standards.

• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.

• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.

• Prepare and present financial reports to management.

• Collaborate with plant operations and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

• Guide plant teams on finance-related transactions and processes.

• Support the Finance Controller in managing day-to-day financial operations.

• Experience with HFM and OneStream reporting tools is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CWA / MBA Finance / Master's Degree in Finance from a reputed institution.

• 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance.

• Strong experience in Plant Finance within a manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial controls.
