What you'll do

  • Deliver on manufacturing engineering benchmarks to drive departmental performance and ensure achievement of both departmental and business-wide safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • Develop and modify line layouts, including material flow, waste reduction, and ergonomics.
  • Analyse and improve site-wide processes across warehouse, production, and repair areas. Ensure safety while increasing efficiency in an efficient way. Work with global sites in Las Vegas, Tulsa, Barcelona, and Melbourne to reach world-class quality levels.
  • Champion continuous improvement projects to improve yield, capacity, and capability.
  • Provide support for other international sites, such as the European Integration Centre (EUIC) in Barcelona, Spain, by working directly and collaboratively with counterparts. This includes travel to the EUIC to examine processes and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain manufacturing and repair work instructions, routings, and associated processes.
  • Contribute to the build, development, and fabrication of production fixtures to aid in the assembly, handling, and packaging of electronic gaming machines and their components.
  • Analyse data from various sources to identify trends in build quality and efficiency.
  • Provide support to address production and repair issues by applying structured problem-solving techniques such as DMAIC, Ishikawa, Five Why, and Eight Disciplines.
  • Participate in the transition of a product from concept to mass manufacturing and ensure timely delivery while meeting quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with development engineering teams to evaluate various process technologies, equipment builds, and suppliers, and identify/select the best method for mass production.
  • Perform risk assessments, identify mitigations, and corrective actions to ensure product compliance and pre-defined quality specifications are achieved.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years minimum hands-on industrial experience in the design and development of manufacturing and repair processes and equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience utilising lean manufacturing and operational excellence concepts.
  • Ability to develop data driven root cause analyses and solutions.
  • Excellent data analysis, communication, and project management skills.
  • Willing to travel upon business request.
  • Solid financial and commercial manufacturing acumen.
  • Creative capacity for developing new ways to do things better.
  • Hands on technical problem solver.

Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) supports the “Make” of the Global Supply Chain by, enabling new product launches, driving manufacturing excellence, and advancing factory capabilities through automation and continuous improvement. The department integrates Lean and Six Sigma practices, structured training systems, New Product Introduction (NPI) phase-gate processes, and smart factory technologies to improve productivity, quality, and scalability across operations. Through collaboration with design engineering, operations, and supply chain teams, AME ensures that manufacturing processes are efficient, standardised, and prepared to support both current production and future innovations.
