What you'll do

  • Brand Positioning & Strategy: In partnership with the Sr. Manager, own and evolve the brand strategy for the brand portfolio, including brand purpose, positioning, target consumer definition, and competitive differentiation, in partnership with the business unit GM and team.
  • Consumer & Insights: Synthesize as well as recommend quantitative and qualitative consumer data (segmentation, usage & attitude studies, purchase behavior, social listening) to identify unmet needs and emerging trends; translate findings into clear, actionable insights that inform brand positioning, innovation priorities, and go-to-market strategy; partner with consumer insights teams to design and prioritize research that closes critical knowledge gaps.
  • Campaign & Program Execution: Manage the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives — timelines, deliverables, approvals, and stakeholder coordination — ensuring on-time, on-brief, on-budget delivery.
  • Brand Performance Tracking: Track brand health metrics, market share, and campaign performance against KPIs; prepare regular performance reports and highlight areas needing attention.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the strategic connective tissue across creative, media, shopper marketing, social, and digital experience to ensure a consistent, on-brand experience across all consumer touchpoints; partner with media agency partners to shape media strategy — channel mix, audience targeting, and investment allocation — ensuring plans align with brand positioning and growth priorities; manage agency relationships (creative, media, and specialist partners) to drive high-quality output, accountability to brief, and efficient use of budget.
  • Portfolio & Architecture: Guide decisions on product portfolio, naming, and brand architecture within the category space to maintain a coherent brand system.
  • Innovation Partnership: Provide strategic brand input into new product development, ensuring launches are grounded in consumer need and brand equity.
  • Marketing Plan Development: Build annual brand plans, including objectives, strategies, budget allocation, and success metrics, in partnership with the Sr. Director and the business unit GMs and their teams.
  • Budget Management: Support disciplined, ongoing stewardship of the marketing budget in partnership with the Sr Manager and GMs (P&L owners) — including annual planning, in-year reallocation, and ROI tracking across media, innovation, and shopper investments; proactively identify efficiency opportunities and reallocate spend toward highest-return initiatives; ensure spend pacing, forecasting accuracy, and variance reporting meet finance and leadership expectations.
  • Creative Oversight and Coordination: Help develop and refine creative briefs; coordinate creative reviews and consolidate feedback from stakeholders to keep creative development on track.

Summary

The Marketing Manager supports brand strategy execution for the identified brand portfolio, translating the Senior Manager's strategic direction into day-to-day marketing plans, campaigns, and cross-functional deliverables. The core mandate is executional excellence: bringing the brand strategy to life across touchpoints, managing the details that make campaigns and launches successful, and building the analytical and operational foundation that lets the Senior Manager focus on strategy. This is a strong development role for someone building toward broader brand ownership.

This position will sit full time onsite at our World Headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus

Experience: 5+ years of progressive brand marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of brand strategy
