What you'll do

  • Creates and maintains all documents, forms, templates, and materials
  • Creates and maintains all aspects of social media posts, websites, marketing materials and communications with brokers, employers, members, providers, and employees

JOB PURPOSE
The Marketing Specialist assists with the execution of marketing and communications projects. and supports the development and implementation of tactical marketing communications projects for the Company, including sales tools, marketing collateral, advertisements, websites, social media, community events and training materials. This role will effectively coordinate the development, design, internal approval, production, and distribution of marketing materials as assigned and champion the Company brand identity across all developed materials.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Creates and maintains all documents, forms, templates, and materials
Creates and maintains all aspects of social media posts, websites, marketing materials and communications with brokers, employers, members, providers, and employees
Basic graphic design work as assigned
Conducts marketing/communications research to identify and understand customer/market trends and anticipates strategic adjustments

Coordinates and assists with marketing communications projects as assigned

Understands the Company’s products, geographic market areas, and remains informed about competitors plans, products, and marketing areas
Understands the scope and detail of projects, keeping on top of changes and implementing accordingly
Contributes to and individually responsible for adhering to department compliance with established standard policies and procedures
Contributes to the improvement of workflow processes
Assists with the monitoring and reporting of project expenses and process invoices with accounts payable
Assists and proofreads materials to support the brand (print & digital), including but not limited to collateral, tradeshows, events, websites, and social media outlets
Works with marketing leadership on product launches and promotions, photography, tradeshows/events, and sales meetings
Coordinates quotes/estimates, planning efforts, status updates and delivery schedules with outside vendors and agencies
Collaborates with the creative team and content owner(s) to develop marketing and sales materials
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Consistently demonstrates compliance with HIPAA regulations, professional conduct, and ethical practice
Works to encourage and promote Company culture throughout the organization - waiting on this to be approved
Other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience preferred
Two years’ experience with sales and marketing support
History of community involvement
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photo Shop, InDesign, DreamWeaver and Illustrator)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, SharePoint, Planner, Teams, Outlook and OneNote)
Healthcare industry experience preferred
Has a working knowledge of current sales strategies for employers and individuals


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate amount of walking, sitting, and writing. Moderate to significant amount of stress in meeting deadlines and dealing with day-to-day events in the execution of job duties. Needs flexibility and adaptability to change. Candidate must be self-disciplined and a self-starter and able to work independently with a flexible work schedule. Must be able to drive a vehicle and daytime/overnight travel as required.
