- Design and develop engineering systems quickly, accurately, and in a manner appropriate to ease manufacturing and assembly.
- Generate 3D models and 2D drawings of engineering systems, jigs, and fixtures to a high standard required for internal/external manufacture both in the US and around the world.
- Assist in the coordination of design and manufacturing programs and the testing/verification of designs.
- Create innovative design solutions to complex issues and introduce and develop new materials and processes with an emphasis on cost reductions.

- Hands-on practical experience in mechanical assembly, prototyping, or test experience.
- Experience in injection molding, 3D printing, and machining techniques is a plus.

We are looking for a talented designer to join our Service Engineering team. Service Engineering is responsible for the tooling requirements for Lucid vehicles, service, and ancillary systems. The applicant should have good engineering knowledge of mechanical designs and their applications in the real-world environment and be able to design and develop engineering systems quickly, accurately, and in a manner appropriate to ease manufacturing and assembly. The applicant will generate 3D models and 2D drawings of engineering systems, jigs, and fixtures to a high standard required for internal/external manufacture both in the US and around the world and assist in the coordination of design and manufacturing programs and the testing/verification of designs.
The applicant will be required to create innovative design solutions to complex issues and introduce and develop new materials and processes with an emphasis on cost reductions. The applicant must have a flexible attitude to work and a 'team-player' attitude with good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:

Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.
