About this role
Location: 86th Medical Group, Ramstein AB, Germany
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0700–1630 (excluding U.S. federal holidays)
Responsibilities
Review referrals for completeness, TRICARE coverage, and required pre-tests; coordinate with providers for corrections.
Register/update patient data in MHS GENESIS, EWRAS, and DEERS.
Assist with Right of First Refusal determinations and schedule specialty referrals within ATC standards.
Coordinate with clinics for patient instructions and required testing.
Track all referrals and appointments, ensuring results are returned to providers and documented in medical records.
Support preparation of monthly reports, MEB, and Service Treatment Record programs.
Provide administrative assistance and act as central point for referral questions.
Deliver exceptional customer service—greet patients, answer phones, and provide health benefit advice.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (Administrative Assistant program preferred).
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel.
Current BLS certification.
Strong knowledge of TRICARE, medical terminology, records management, and customer service principles.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
