Merchandising Admin Assistant - Head Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase order management – raising PO’s with our brand partners and keeping track of deliveries in an accurate manner

  • Produce and compile Monday trade reports, ensuring data accuracy and highlighting any anomalies or risks to the Assistant Merchandiser and wider team.

  • Intake management of the delivery schedule, ensuring delivery dates are met by brands and communicating any short shipments, late deliveries, and cancellations to the wider team

  • Ensure new line ranging and allocations are actioned accurately

  • Assist with tester ordering and monitoring tester availability

  • Support new product and brand launches by tracking SKU setup, stock availability, tester placement and highlighting any risks to launch dates.

  • Support the management of the NPD critical path, including stock tracking, ranging, tester allocation and launch readiness.

  • Produce ad hoc financial and stock analysis as requested.

  • Develop a strong understanding of retail merchandising processes and basic retail maths.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven mathematical skill and knowledge of basic retail maths (either through school or university results).

  • Previous merchandising experience is not essential, however will be highly regarded.

  • Strong Excel skills will be highly required, and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Personal Attributes

  • Analytical and numerical strengths, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and use initiative to solve problems effectively.
