What you'll do
- Perform dimensional inspection of gemstones using digital measuring instruments.
- Verify gemstone cut-to-fit dimensions as per jewellery CAD and engineering drawings.
- Conduct incoming quality inspection of gemstones.
- Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.
- Prepare dimensional inspection reports.
- Support development of metrology standards and SOPs.
- Perform sampling inspections as per SOPs.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quality improvement.
- Assist in root cause analysis of quality issues.
- Maintain quality databases and inspection records.
- Support product development teams during new collection trials.
- Participate in quality audits and process improvement initiatives.
