We are currently recruiting 2 experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join a busy reactive maintenance contract covering social housing properties across Reading, Basingstoke and Thatcham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor working on the Home Group contract, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance across occupied properties.

The Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive maintenance and repair works, including:

• Day-to-day reactive repairs and general maintenance
• Door adjustments, repairs and general carpentry
• Flooring repairs and renewals
• Basic plumbing and patch repairs
• General remedial and property maintenance works
• Working within occupied social housing properties
• Completing all works efficiently and to a high standard
• Providing a professional and respectful service to tenants

Requirements

• Proven experience in reactive maintenance or social housing repairs
• Multi-trade or multi-skilled background preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Own tools and transport preferred
• CSCS card preferred
• Reliable and professional approach to work
